In an interview with the PlayStation Blog, Destiny 2 Design Director Evan Nikolich revealed that the thought process behind the Lost Forges was inspired by other activities like Blind Well and Escalation Protocol. Unlike those activities, Lost Forges finally incorporates dedicated matchmaking for a maximum of three players, similar to what Bungie put together with the Haunted Forest. Bungie’s also looking to provide a challenging but repeatable activity as it starts above the current maximum power level of 600, but the activity promises to drop max level loot over time....

While the Sundial is a smaller experience that the Menagerie before it, players may be confused on how to effectively complete each round as there are no instructions to help guide them. The good news is that not only is the Fatebringer back, but it can role with Firefly, the slightly better version of Dragonfly that is available in Destiny 2. Towards the end of the Lumina exotic quest in Destiny 2, players will be given a multi-step Pursuit that asks them to kill Guardians with hand cannons in Crucible, create 50 orbs of light for teammates, and kill one Invader in Gambit. Savathun’s role in the current Season is particularly interesting because it answered a few questions and posed many more. Emails have started to go out this morning from Bungie asking players to answer that very question. The short survey contains only two questions, asking players to rate their most recent experience in Destiny from a 1 to 5 and then a second question that asks for any additional comments. Savathun has been considered one of the main antagonists in Destiny 2 for a long time based on lore, the fact that she is aligned with the Darkness, and because she is a Hive God. The ‘Stasis Trigger’ catalyst quest tasks Destiny 2 players with completing several time-consuming but reasonably easy objectives. The Exotic Rocket Launcher Deathbringer also received an Exotic Catalyst that players can easily obtain simply by playing playlist activities. Royal Pools Mechanics In case any might not be aware, the basics of the Royal Pools are fairly simple. Four players need to stand on plates in the four corners of the room, but they can only do so while a Psionic Protection buff is active. So the Destiny 2 fireteam to rotate standing on the plates and going to the center of the room, where a Psionic Protection orb continuously respawns....

One of the quests that is leading to a lot of confusion is the Cayde’s Will quest. Destiny 2 players will obtain this quest as part of the Forsaken campaign and its end reward is the Ace of Spades exotic, but getting there requires some work.
