It’s for that reason that Destiny 2 players are doing a lot of testing to figure out how useful (or not useful) certain items are. For example, one Destiny 2 player did some extensive testing to determine how effective the Recovery stat is on armor and mods. In Destiny 1, armor carried stats called Intellect, Discipline, and Strength, which influenced a player’s Super, grenade, and melee recharge, respectively. But for Destiny 2 those stats have been replaced with Recovery, Resilience, and Mobility, which are a little more nebulous....
This discussion around weapon viability in the Crucible stems from the fact that certain weapon archetypes/frames (a group of weapons sharing the same RPM) fall behind others while not offering anything meaningful to the sandbox. Weapon sunsetting is set to arrive this fall and is intended to shift loadouts around to revitalize the sandbox. Bungie states that sunsetting will allow the developer to continue making powerful weapons while keeping the sandbox fresh and avoiding power creep....
Thanks to a retail listing for Destiny: Rise of Iron captured by My Name is Byf on Twitter, the deal between Activision and Sony is still in place. It should be no surprise to anyone then that the exclusive timed-content deal remains in tact with Sony, so PlayStation 4 players are indeed getting access to exclusive gear. Unfortunately, neither Bungie or Activision has detailed what exactly PlayStation 4 players should expect to see, and neither company appears to be in any rush to do so....
Bungie implemented new features to keep strikes interesting this time around, like dynamic enemy encounter rooms, so every replay should be a little bit different from the last. Combine that with four new strikes in Destiny: The Taken King all having their own unique challenges, like fighting a boss in darkness in the Sunless Strike, or facing two bosses simultaneously at the end of the Shield Brothers Strike, and the difficulty may catch some Guardians off-guard....

While players have managed to find small workarounds, the efforts of one Destiny 2 player may have found the most efficient way to bank excess glimmer. The game makes it impossible to store glimmer in the player’s vault, so the trick to going over the 100,000 limit is to actually purchase a season 3 Sparrow called The Otherside. This exotic sparrow costs players 7,500 Glimmer and 5 Legendary Shards, but when it’s dismantled, players nearly get everything back they put into it at 5000 Glimmer and the 5 shards....
Destiny 2’s Season of the Chosen weapons are some of the best, including this special grenade launcher. Salvager’s Salvo comes with a bunch of great perks for Guardians who love blowing stuff up with grenades. That said, it does require grinding some of the game’s main activities for kills.
