Built on a strong foundation of compelling minute-to-minute gameplay, it’s difficult to play Destiny and not wish there was a bit more to the overall experience. To their credit, Bungie has been working to respond to player feedback, and the ‘Vault of Glass’ raid is evidence of what the game can be at its best — but still, Destiny at present is falling short of its potential. Players are desperate for more to do in the game, and botched events like the Iron Banner aren’t cutting the mustard....

[HTML1] Shortly after video surfaced of a Destiny player soloing a small section of the Crota’s End raid, many figured it would only be a matter of time before someone finished the entire experience solo. In their latest Weekly Update, Bungie reveals that out of the 820,986 players who entered Trials of Osiris last week, only 133,444 players made it to the Lighthouse at least once. That is only 16.25% of contenders. It’s safe to say that Trials of Osiris is indeed the endgame for PvP-focused players, and it appears Bungie is happy with where the mode is at. Reddit user Ben826 shared these findings on the Destiny subreddit, having unearthed the information in the wake of yesterday’s update. We’ve seen plenty of other fans use similar techniques to gain a sneak peek at new weapons and gear in the past. We already know that The Taken King centres around Oryx and his Dreadnaught, with the ship being the exact location for the new Raid set to be added to the game with this expansion....

As the first raid introduced in Destiny, Vault of Glass holds a special place in the hearts of most die-hard Guardians. As some predicted, Destiny’s April Update will include, among other things, a revamped version of the Prison of Elders complete with a new scoring system. Hit two different score thresholds within the week, and players will earn an armor piece and a weapon, which can be as high as light level 335. Additionally, the April Update will also add a few new quests to the mix, as well as a new Strike....

Among those improvements is an exotic blueprint system that will allow players to keep track of every weapon and armor piece they have acquired thus far. In other words, players only have a little less than a week to try to procure any exotics they may not already have, lest a brand new set of loot overshadows them. To assist in that endeavor, Xur has once again returned to the world of Destiny to offer up exotic armor and weapons....

Gambit was first introduced to Destiny 2 in 2018’s Forsaken expansion and was touted as the expansion’s marquee new PvPvE mode where two teams of Guardians race to bank motes, defeat mini-bosses, and slow down the other team via blockers and invading players. The mode was the centerpiece of the aforementioned Season of the Drifter, which introduced Gambit Prime as a faster, single-round option before it ultimately replaced the original three-round Gambit....

Stasis Aspects are one level of customization in the Darkness Stasis subclasses and come with unique perks.
