How Limited Blessings Challenge Works As with most challenges, Limited Blessings is fairly simple and will only require a tiny bit of coordination. Throughout the entire first encounter of the Crown of Sorrow raid, there cannot be more than 2 players who possess the Witch’s Blessing buff. What this means is that the fireteam will still split into three groups of 2, but only two of those groups will trade off the Witch’s Blessing....

The secret to getting curated Black Armory weapons in Destiny 2 is to complete Ada-1’s weekly Powerful Frames at the Bergusia Forge. It’s not a guaranteed drop, but there is a chance for a curated weapon to drop when completing a Powerful Frame in the Bergusia Forge. In addition, the curated versions of the Black Armory will also drop with a unique Black Armory shader called Bergusia Night that can only be found on a curated weapon....

At the time of writing, there is one confirmed way to obtain an Exotic Cipher in Destiny 2, and that is by reaching Rank 55 on the Season Pass. As seen in the video below, finding the location of the Cryopod Heroic Public Event in Destiny 2 should be easy enough, but after reaching the Public Event icon, players will need to fulfill several objectives that aren’t explicitly given in the game. First off, Guardians will be tasked with killing two waves of enemies before the timer runs out, but then their priorities will shift to a somewhat subtler approach when the boss comes out....

Bungie usually releases an Exotic quest each season in Destiny 2, with the last one being The Harbinger mission from Season of the Hunt. This mission was a bit different from what came before, as it had a long prelude and was meant to be repeatable, letting players farm different rolls of its Exotic reward, Hawkmoon. A similarly structured mission seems to be in the works for week three of Season of the Chosen....

Since its launch in late 2017, Destiny 2 has adhered to a seasonal content schedule releasing new modes, maps, story, and gear. Exodus Blue was a Crucible map added in Season 10, but it was a returning map that served as a pre-order bonus for the original Destiny. After Exodus Blue was reintroduced for Destiny 2’s Crucible Map lineup, members of the community either praised the map’s asymmetrical lanes or found issue with its tiny, cramped size, and both arguments could hold water....

Recently, Bungie ramped up anticipation for many Guardians by revealing eight new maps for Destiny’s PvP arena, Crucible. And of course, new maps wouldn’t be complete without fresh PvP game modes. At least that seems to be Bungie’s feeling, as they’ll be adding two new modes to Crucible, called Rift and Meyham. In a video interview with GameInformer, The Taken King’s design lead, Lars Bakken, opens up about creating the new modes and provides Guardians a few details about the new Crucible modes....

While the assumption had always been that Destiny would be built around a yearly release and two major DLC expansions, those notions were put to rest this past week. In an interview at PSX, Senior Designer Derek Carroll confirmed that Destiny Year 2 would be focused on live events instead of “monolithic DLC packs,” seemingly putting to rest rumors of a Cabal-themed DLC pack or a Vex follow-up. It was Carroll’s quote that eventually sent the Destiny fan base reeling, concerned that their favorite game would soon suffer a major content gap....

Where is Xur? This weekend, Destiny players can find Xur in the northern section of the Tower, next to the big circular door. Xur is actually not that far from his spot last weekend, just a few steps earlier. To find Xur, head to the left after spawning in, following the long hallway, and look to the right when entering the Speaker’s courtyard. Xur will be against the wall, tucked down some small stairs....

On the flip side, the end of the Dawning also means the start of a new year for both Destiny players and for Bungie. While the studio has been mostly quiet during the Dawning event - more on that in a bit - the developers should start teasing the future very soon. If Destiny 2 really is releasing in 2017, presumably in the fall, then it’s high time Bungie start talking about what its hopes and ideas are for the sequel....

Because it’s clear that if Bungie doesn’t do something drastic with the mode sooner rather than later, players might abandon it outright outside of the weekly engram drop. For a mode as unique as Gambit, in a game in need of more regular content like Destiny 2, that would be a shame....

During The Revelry event, Reveler’s Tonic will be available at Eva Levante, the game’s special live event vendor. Consuming a Reveler’s Tonic will temporarily grant players faster cooldowns for their grenade, melee, and class abilities. It does not appear that Reveler’s Tonic will affect super cooldowns in any way, but more will be revealed when The Revelry goes live next week, including what in-game currency will be used to purchase Reveler’s Tonic and how long its effects will last....
