Derek Carroll, who leads the live team PvP group at Bungie, recently dropped a few hints in a recent livestream regarding a secret that fans have not yet uncovered in Destiny: Rise of Iron. Not wanting to give away too much, Carroll revealed that there’s a hidden code somewhere on the new Crucible map, Last Exit. The hint comes at around the 1 hour and 10 minute mark in the live stream, taking the chat and host, David “DeeJ” Dague, by surprise....

The raid group, Math Class featuring the popular Destiny YouTuber Datto, not only solved the mysterious monitor puzzle that had been stumping players participating in the Wrath of the Machine raid, but the group wrapped up a new exotic weapon quest as well. Datto and his crew managed to capture the entire four hour process on his Twitch channel, where fans could follow along with their progress. [HTML2] As a reward for the hours of work put in and taking out the raid boss Aksis Prime, Datto and his crew managed to reveal the last of the known exotic weapon quest lines called Channeling the Corruption....

Bungie revealed some details on Destiny: The Taken King’s new Year 2 upgrade system for Guardians with Year 1 weapons during their first of three Twitch livestreams, but not much information was revealed regarding how the exotic blueprints system will work. Thankfully, today’s Bungie Weekly Update is now shining some light on the matter. Bungie was clearly well-aware that the exotic blueprint system had simultaneously intrigued and bewildered their loyal fans, so they went into great detail in their latest Bungie Weekly Update regarding how it will work....

This week Xur can be found in the tunnel leading to the Vanguard quarters right next to the Crucible Quartermaster. It’s one of the Agent of the Nine’s favorite spots and it’s really hard to miss him. Although it will be hard to top the all-DLC selection from two weeks ago, this week Xur has some pretty excellent items on sale. In fact, based solely on his exotic weapon choice we might say this is an even better week for Destiny players who got into the game late....

Xur’s Location This week, Destiny players can find Xur in the balcony area of Tower North. To reach Xur, head to the left after spawning in, follow the long hallway past the Sweeper Bot, turn to the left, and enter the open area. Xur will be in the very back against the railing. Exotic Armor and Weapon Xur’s exotic armor inventory this week includes the Peregrine Greaves boots for Titans, the Celestial Nighthawk helmet for Hunters, and the Heart of Praxic Fire chest piece for Warlocks....

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is just three weeks away at the time of the trailer release. It was delayed from its original launch date to give the developers a bit more time to iron out rough edges and ensure a healthy launch. A member of the Bungie community forums who goes by the handle “Svarog” recently created a thread to voice this concern, and Bungie addressed the concern directly According to Bungie, Destiny 2’s Warmind expansion does not require ownership of Curse of Osiris; adding that getting up to the necessary character level will take longer without the expansion. Unlike with Curse of Osiris, several frequent fan requests like increased vault space with be coming to Destiny 2 with the free update released alongside Warmind....

The Traveler’s origins are unknown in Destiny 2, but it did bless several races prior to making its stand on Earth and blessing humanity with the Light. There’s a difference between the gift of the Light and the Traveler’s blessing, however, and this can be seen through the tales of the Eliksni (commonly referred to as Fallen), the Ammonites, the Harmony, and the Ahamkara. These species were all touched by the Light to some extent, whereas humanity and now the Hive have been blessed by the Traveler’s Light to receive powers and Ghosts for resurrection....

However, players have discovered a way to cheese the final step of the quest, which can be one of the most laborious parts. In the final step, players must fill a completion bar to 100% by finishing Iron Banner matches. Going on win streaks will speed up progress but Iron Banner is often no walk in the park and, especially with level advantages turned on and regularly matchmaking with stacked teams, this step can be a slog - not to mention running into players using the overpowered Lord of Wolves exotic....

Destiny 2 players will be able to easily complete some of the challenges while working their way through the final Challenger’s Proving quest. Meanwhile, the other challenges require players to venture into Gambit to get the Salvager’s Salvo Gambit ornament and gain Valor ranks by playing the Crucible which nicely coincides with the return of Iron Banner. Last week a new hidden mission, Presage, was added to Destiny 2. The mission takes place on a seemingly-abandoned Cabal ship, the Glykon. In order for players to unravel the mystery of the ship, they’ll need to scan certain items. Doing so will complete the Captain’s Log Seasonal Challenge. In Week Five of the Seasonal Challenges in Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Season of the Chosen, Guardians are presented with the Graven Scrawl Challenge. The Graven Scrawl Challenge requires Guardians to investigate cryptic notes left in the Captain’s Log. There are three cryptic notes for Guardians to uncover. Guardians need only to collect three of the Captain’s Log Lore Pages and that will count as investigating the cryptic notes....

The Vault of Glass is a fan-favorite Raid and has seen some alterations to its encounters with its reprisal in Destiny 2. The coveted Vex Mythoclast Exotic Fusion Rifle is also back with the Raid, but has a very small chance of dropping after defeating the final boss, Atheon, Time’s Conflux. The latest tracker survey data released by Morning Consult found that 52 percent of likely voters in Wisconsin intended to vote for Biden as of Wednesday. By comparison, 42 percent of state voters said they would opt for Trump at the ballot box. When the same survey was conducted in mid-August, the gap between the presidential candidates in the key 2020 swing state was far tighter. Forty-eight percent of Wisconsin voters told pollsters on August 17 that they would be voting for Biden, while 45 percent favored Trump—a difference of just 3 percentage points....

Trump said he thought the prospect of a longer wait on the outcome was a “terrible thing,” as he criticized court decisions to allow late-arriving ballots in certain states to be counted. “And I think it’s a very dangerous decision because you’re going to have one or two or three states, depending on how it ends up, where they’re tabulating ballots, and the rest of the world is waiting to find out,” he said....
