Other glitches can be quite bad for the game in various ways, or even break Destiny 2 in some way that requires an immediate fix - or at least a bandaid solution that helps Bungie deal with the bug later. A prime example of this is what generally causes items to be disabled for a short span of time, as disabling them is a short-term solution to the problem they are causing, which gives Bungie room to breathe....
That weapon is Izanagi’s Burden from Destiny 2’s Black Armory Annual Pass content. Its exotic perk is called Honed Edge, which allows players to hold reload to consumes the four-round magazine and loads one round with additional range and damage. That round does massive damage, and as current top-tier weapons are likely to lose their spots with the upcoming weapon changes in Shadowkeep, the damage that Izanagi’s Burden is able to put out might end up being the best in the game....

So when will Rise of Iron be available to fans? [HTML1] Earlier this week, Bungie gave Destiny players their first tour of The Reef, the new social space that launches alongside the House of Wolves DLC. While navigating the reef, the developers gave fans quick looks at some of the new gear that will be available with the DLC, and they also revealed how weapon upgrades will work post-update. They also teased some potential new hiding spots for Xur once the House of Wolves releases on May 19th, meaning players will have two HUB areas to check every Friday morning....
Obviously, it was going to be hard for Xur to top the Icebreaker, or even the all-DLC offering from a few weeks back, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t provide something useful. In fact, given what we know about Crota’s End hard mode, there are a few weapons that Xur could have offered to meet those needs. Anything that would help players regenerate health - weapons or armor - would have been perfect for this week, but first let’s find Xur first....
Taking to Twitter for the announcement, the Bungie Help account revealed that the Bungie.net Gear Manager is being taken down on August 23. What this means is players will no longer be able to see their personal Destiny statistics, transfer or equip gear from the site, or create new Refer-A-Friend links. Active Refer-A-Friend links will continue to function after August 23 as well, letting players collect their rewards. This news also includes the companion mobile app as well as the main Bungie....
Competing in the Trials of Osiris is exhilarating and challenging but it takes a solid team, great communication, and most importantly, amazing gear, to reach the top. For those that may not know, it is common practice for the Flashpoint in Destiny 2 to double as Xur’s “hiding spot.” So when Mercury came up as the Flashpoint most people assumed that he would also appear on the Vex-infested planet. This would be the first time that Xur sold exotics on Mercury, so many were excited to see where he might hide. Unfortunately, Bungie community support manager dmg04 confirmed that Xur won’t/can’t appear on Mercury....
Chief among those attending the Destiny 2 community summit is Gladd, a noted challenge runner and content creator. As a member of Clan Redeem, Gladd has nabbed several World’s First raid titles and completed numerous solo challenges. Outside of Gladd, no other Destiny 2 community member has revealed that they are visiting Bungie for the summit. The hope is that Bungie will replicate the wide variety of opinions that were part of last year’s summit, which was focused on making changes for Year 2....
Alongside the celebration, Destiny 2 will also receive a sizeable patch including changes to the game’s sandbox. Mid-season patches like these have only become more common since Bungie introduced the Destiny Content Vault, aligning with the promise that the system’s implementation would allow them to make more significant changes at a more frequent pace. Bungie has been pretty forthcoming with Forsaken, and more information on the Destiny 2 expansion continues to pour in daily. There are still some questions left unanswered, however, and the developer does want to keep some surprises for launch. Salvation’s Grip - What It Does “If revenge is a dish best served cold, then put on your Sunday finest.” Mr. Freeze would have appreciated Salvation’s Grip. Its Cryocannon creates Statis crystals that can freeze nearby opponents. Charging the weapon increases its freeze radius and the number of crystals that are released. This quest was not a surprise like some of the game’s past exotic quests have been. Players knew to expect this quest, as it was listed on the roadmap for the Season of Opulence, which just recently started. The quest is not particularly difficult but will take players a couple of hours to complete. Destiny 2, Season of the Splicer may be a little overwhelming for some, but despite all the new things to explore, Guardians should not forget about the new Stasis Fragments in Season of the Splicer. Recently, Bungie announced the inclusion of eight new Crucible maps in which would-be Guardians can soon duke it out amongst their friends.
