This week Blizzard launched the ability to link a Bungie.net account with a Battlenet account in preparation for Destiny 2’s release on PC in October. Under normal circumstances, players should simply be linking two accounts, but what has ended up happening in some instances is an overwriting of the original Bungie.net account. It’s unclear how exactly the process works, but most report that trying to link a Blizzard account to a Bungie....

Then, an attendee claimed that they talked to Bungie and the developer revealed that the armor was actually tied to Vex Offensive, the new activity releasing with Destiny 2: Shadowkeep’s Season Pass.
