While the Destiny fan base speculates, though, Xur is here for the weekend to keep them busy with some “new” exotic armor pieces and a weapon to spend Strange Coins on, along with a few curios. As we learned in the same Bungie update that teased new content, Xur’s stock doesn’t have enough room for all of his curios anymore, meaning some will be left off each week. Thankfully, the two most important ones - the Three of Coins and the Glass Needles - are available for purchase.

Those who might be on the hunt for Xur will find the Agent of the Nine in The Reef, for what feels like the 10th time in a row. At this point, if you don’t know Xur’s Reef hiding spot, you probably don’t care enough about his wares.

Speaking of those wares, Xur has the Empyrean Bellicose helmet for Titans, the Young Ahamkara’s Spine gauntlets for Hunters, and the Voidfang Vestments chest piece for Warlocks. The Titan and Warlock pieces are worth the Strange Coins for their respective classes, but the Hunter gauntlets are less so thanks to a trip mine nerf not too long ago. Also Xur sold them last week.

Xur’s exotic weapon this weekend in the Bad Juju pulse rifle, a mainstay for challenge runs thanks to its super-recharging capabilities. Even those who don’t run challenges, though, will find that Bad Juju is worth picking up, and looks even better with the new ornaments. It may not be the strongest pulse rifle in PvP, but in PvE and especially strike scoring, using it to charge up your super can be key in getting high scores.

For a full rundown of Xur’s items and prices see the list below:

Empyrean Bellicose (Titan Helmet) – 13 Strange Coins Young Ahamkara’s Spine (Hunter Gauntlets) – 13 Strange Coins Voidfang Vestments (Warlock Chest Piease) – 13 Strange Coins Bad Juju (Pulse Rifle) – 23 Strange Coins Legacy Special Weapon Engram – 31 Strange Coins
