How to Unlock Weapon Patterns
Out of the 29 patterns available in The Witch Queen and Season of the Risen, only eight of them can be unlocked with guaranteed methods, which are either quests or specific achievements.

This is a list of all the patterns that Destiny 2 players can obtain this way and how to get them:

The remaining 21 patterns can be unlocked by Destiny 2 players by completing the Deepsight Resonance trait on weapons that randomly roll it, with some requiring a single completion and others requiring multiple.

It’s worth noting that Deepsight Resonance weapons in Destiny 2 drop randomly, meaning that the most effective ways to obtain them are quick activities, playing or replaying through The Witch Queen campaign, and PsiOps Battlegrounds.
Alternating a couple PsiOps Battlegrounds and missions from The Witch Queen campaign can be particularly beneficial in order for players to get a constant flow of Psychogenic Intel, the currency used to open extra chests in the Battlegrounds.
