This much was confirmed by Bungie in its weekly blog post, with the Destiny 2 developer stating that it’s investigating the incorrect loading screen on Titan “in which players loading into Heroic adventures . . . may incorrectly see a loading scene for the Dreadnaught.” Interestingly enough, the video game developer goes on to declare that the loading scene is a “leftover”, and that the studio will be seeking a fix to rectify the issue.
With Destiny 2 being as large as it is, players are bound to encounter issues like this every now and again, whether they come in the form of bugs, glitches, or any type of indescribable in-game oddness. More often than not, bugs such as these are unintentional byproducts of Bungie attempting to properly balance and refine the game, but despite the developer working quickly to fix them, their appearance in the title sometimes leads to players to make wild speculations about how the glitch could relate to future content.
So, taking all of this into account, while some Destiny 2 fans may be disappointed to learn that the Dreadnaught won’t be coming back any time soon, it’s good to know that Bungie is acknowledging that it’s doing its best to keep tabs on all reported issues and problems like these. In the meantime, Guardians still have plenty to look forward to, and they can still partake in the game’s Festival of the Lost event right now.
Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
